FAQ
1) Where do we collect the equipment from?
Because we work from home we do not advertise our address on our website. The information is provided as part of your Booking Confirmation e-mail once an order is made. We are located in Guildford which is approximately a 10 minute drive from Perth’s domestic airport.
2) Do you install the car seats and capsules?
Yes, installation by our qualified fitters is included in your hire cost.
3) Is everything clean and in good condition?
Yes. Where possible the covers of items are removed and washed in hypo-allergenic detergent. The portacots and bedding based equipment are vacuumed and scrubbed down with hospital grade disinfectant. Once cleaned they are then wrapped in plastic for storage.
4) How long do you need capsules for?
The length of time you need a capsule for depends on the growth rate of your child. The Polo Capsule is recommended for use up to nine kilograms of weight which usually occurs around six months of age. The Unity Capsule is recommended for use up to 12 kilograms of weight which usually occurs at around nine months of age.
We recommend a hire period of three months with an option to extend on a monthly basis as required.
5) How much notice do you need?
The more notice you can provide the better able we are to guarantee availability of the equipment for you. This is particularly relevant in November, December and January as these are peak business periods.
6) Do you deliver?
Yes, at an additional cost depending on where you need the equipment to go to. If you let us know we’ll be able to provide you with a quote.
7) Can you provide information on the new Child Restraint Laws currently before Western Australian Parliament?
Yes, please follow this link to the Roadwise website for detailed information on the new laws and how they will affect your family. FAQ
